Course AbstractFor PhD students and post docs to get started and feedback on applications for post doc funding under FTP (Danish Research Council for Technology and Production Sciences), FSS (Danish Medical Research Council), FNU (The Danish Natural Science Research Council) and under the EU PEOPLE programme (Marie Curie).

Course Content
On day 1 you will be informed about the relevant funding possibilities from e.g. the Danish Research Councils (FTP, FNU and FSS) and the EU. You will learn about what research areas are covered by the respective councils and how the applications are evaluated. In the afternoon Associate Professor Constance Kampf, Department of Language and Business Communication, University of Aarhus will teach you the basics for writing a successful application.

After day 1 the participants are must hand-in a draft application to be read and commented by Constance Kampf. At day 2 there will be a general feedback on draft applications. The participants must also give feedback on eachothers applications, and prepare to present other participants applications in plenum.

Learning Outcome
The aim of the course is to:

. Inform the students about priorities in the different Danish Research Councils and the EU People Program
. Learn the basics for writing a successful application
. Get feedback on your own draft application
