Eksamen | Sluteksamen skriftlig og mundtlig eksamen Praktisk eksamen Alle hjælpemidler tilladt Beskrivelse af eksamen: Written exmaination, oral examination and practical examination. During the course the participants submit three mandatory written exercises. In an oral examination the examinee presents one of the written exercises, which is randomly selected. The oral examination is judged by an external examiner. A practical examination consists of an oral presentation in class of a seleted topic based on a distributed paper. Assuming that the participants already have a comprehensive understanding of environmental and natural resource economics, it is the objective of this course to provide opportunities to apply this knowledge to specific environmental and natural resource problems. | |||||||||||||||||
Kursusindhold | |||||||||||||||||
The course will be build around two central themes consisting of an environmental or natural resource problem that has connections to environmental regulation, economic valuation and cost-benefit analysis, natural resource economics and other elements of environmental economics. The themes of the course can be changed from year to year. Examples of possible themes are global warming, groundwater pollution, pollution of the Baltic Sea etc. The course consists of the following parts. Lectures are given to provide insight into the theoretical and methodological background of the overall themes chosen. The participants submit three written exercises and make an oral presentation in class of a selected topic based on a distributed paper/article. | |||||||||||||||||

Teaching is in the form of lectures and supervision in relation to exercises and the preparation of oral presentation. The student work is conducted in groups of up to 4 participants. | |||||||||||||||||
