Kursets målsætning
For autumn part see course No. 116219. Spring part of the course will enable students to further analyse and report on complex problems related to natural resource management and development in tropical agriculture (including forestry and economics) through interdisciplinary approaches. The course builds on the interdisciplinary and disciplinary skills acquired in the previous semester: it increases students' interdisciplinary collaboration skills while applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge

Kursusindhold
The central themes in the spring semester are to: increase theoretical interdisciplinary knowledge as related to tropical agriculture and development; increase experience in interdisciplinary group work; apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to complex land use issues in developing countries; and improve report writing skills. The course includes training in use of theoretical disciplinary and interdisciplinary frameworks in analysis and report structuring; and critical analysis and discussion of secondary data.

Undervisningsform
